EMDR Intensives

Heal in days. Not years

What is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is a focused, extended session — typically a half-day, full day, or multi-day experience — designed to accelerate trauma processing in a way that weekly one-hour appointments rarely can.

Instead of spending months building up to the hard work, we begin it together. You arrive prepared. We go deep. And you leave with real movement.

I offer intensives because I’ve seen what becomes possible when we give trauma the time, the container, and the clinical expertise it actually deserves.

For people who are ready to do the deep work — but can’t wait months to feel better. EMDR intensives offer the concentrated time and space to process trauma that weekly therapy simply can’t.

What to Expect in Any Intensive

Before
We start with a free 20-minute consultation call. If it’s a strong fit, you’ll complete a paid 60-minute prep session to build your resourcing toolkit and clarify your focus.

During
Your intensive is held in a private, comfortable setting. We move at your pace with built-in breaks and careful attention to your window of tolerance. This isn’t about pushing through — it’s about working with your nervous system.

After
Every package includes a 60-minute integration session. Processing often continues for a few days after — that’s normal and expected. Your integration session is where we help you land.

In-Person or Remote - Your Choice

All intensives are available both in-person and fully remote via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. The format is yours to choose.

Whether you prefer to work face-to-face in a private office setting or from the comfort and privacy of your own home, the depth and quality of the work remains the same. Many clients find that the familiarity of their own environment actually supports the process.

Your EMDR Intensive Therapist

David Keys | Today Has Purpose

David Keys, LCSW, BCD, MBA, EMDRIA Certified Therapist, is a licensed clinical social worker and one of a select group of clinicians to hold the Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) designation — the highest credential awarded in clinical social work, recognizing advanced expertise, ethical practice, and demonstrated clinical excellence.

In addition to clinical training, David holds an MBA, bringing a rare combination of business acumen and deep therapeutic expertise to practice leadership and the design of high-impact intensive programs.
He is currently undergoing psychoanalytic training with the Western Pennsylvania Community for Psychoanalytic Therapies, and is training to become an Organizational Development Leadership Consultant with the Institute for Modern Psychoanalysis Philadelphia. These parallel training tracks reflect a deep commitment to understanding the unconscious dimensions of human experience — and how they shape both individuals and the organizations they inhabit.
